CampStack is campground reservation software and a directory of private campgrounds, made by Hive Asset Group, LLC. We build it for small, independent campgrounds and RV parks, the kind run by a family or a couple, often from a golf cart and an office with a fan in the window.
What CampStack is
The software. A reservation grid, an online booking page, a widget for your own website, Stripe payouts straight to your park, seasonal billing, a simple camp store point of sale, reports and roles. It costs $49 a month or $490 a year, flat. Unlimited reservations. Unlimited users. No setup fee. No contract. Details are on the pricing page and the owner overview.
The directory. A free listing page for private campgrounds across the United States: family campgrounds, RV parks, resorts, glamping and seasonal parks. Pages are built from public data. If we do not know something, we leave it out. Every park can claim its listing for free and correct it. Over time, the directory is where campers will be able to book direct and never pay a fee.
We do not list state parks, national parks or other public campgrounds at this time. Those book through their own systems.
Who makes it
CampStack is made by Hive Asset Group, LLC. That is the company named in our terms, privacy policy and refund policy, and the one you contract with.

Honest status
CampStack launched in 2026. We are new. We do not have a number of parks to show you, and we do not have reviews or customer quotes. We have not put any on our site, because we would rather leave a space empty than fill it with something we cannot back up.
What we do have is a written price, a free trial, a free listing, no contract and a full export of your data if you leave. We think that is the right way to ask a campground owner to try something new.
Why a flat fee
Most campground software makes more money when your campground gets busier. That is the wrong way around. The owner who has a record season ends up paying the software company more for the privilege, and the camper who books on a Friday night sees a fee that was not on the sign.
A flat fee fixes the incentives. We make the same $49 a month whether you take ten bookings or ten thousand. Our job is to make the product good enough that you keep paying, not to find new places to add a fee. Our rule is written into the product: no CampStack fee, badge or surcharge ever appears on a guest's checkout.
We do not touch your guests' money. Payments run through Stripe Connect and go to your park's account. Card processing is Stripe's standard rate, passed through at cost, and you can read it on Stripe's pricing page. We never add a percentage on top.
How we handle competitors
We publish comparison pages for Campspot, Firefly, CampLife, RoverPass and Campground Master. Our rules for them:
- Facts come from the vendor's own public pages, with the address and the date we checked.
- We do not use logged-in content, and we do not collect data from any competitor's platform.
- When a number is not published, we say it is not published.
- We say where a competitor is good.
- We do not quote reviews we have not read in full, and we do not make up testimonials.
If a competitor believes something on our pages is wrong, they can use the same correction process below.
Corrections and takedowns for park owners
Your campground's page should say what is true. If it does not, tell us.
To correct a listing: claim it, which is free, and edit it yourself. Or email hello@campstack.online with the park name, the page address, what is wrong and what it should say.
To claim a listing: find your park in the directory, choose Claim this listing, and verify that you operate the park.
To remove a listing: email hello@campstack.online from an address connected to the park, or send a note with enough information to confirm you own or manage it. State the park name and location. We take the page down.
To report an error on a comparison or owner page: email us with the page, the sentence and a link to a public source. We check it, correct it, and update the date we last checked.
What we do with your request: we read it, check it against public information, make the change and reply by email to tell you what we did. If we need more information to confirm you are the owner, we will ask. We do not charge for any of this.
What we do not do: we do not make you buy the software to correct or remove a listing. Claiming is free, and so is removal.
How the directory data works
- Every field comes from public data or from the owner. Unknown fields are omitted, not guessed.
- Unclaimed pages say: "This listing has not been claimed by the owner."
- When an owner claims a listing, their information takes precedence over ours.
- We re-check public data on a schedule, and we correct drift when we find it.
How CampStack makes money
From the software subscription: $49 a month or $490 a year, paid by parks that choose to use it. That is all. The directory listing is free. We do not sell your park's information, we do not charge campers, and we do not take a commission on bookings. If we ever change how we charge, it will be written on the pricing page first, and customers on the launch offer keep their rate for life.
What we promise park owners
- The price on the pricing page is the price you pay.
- No fee, badge or surcharge from us on your guests' checkout.
- You can cancel any time and take your data with you.
- Your listing is free whether or not you ever buy the software.
- Anything we say about a competitor is sourced and dated, and we fix it when we are wrong.
- We tell you what we do not have yet, instead of letting you find out in July.
Who it is for
Family campgrounds, RV parks, glamping sites and seasonal parks that want online reservations without a per-booking fee. If you run a very large multi-property operation that needs a channel manager or custom contracts, one of the larger systems may serve you better, and our comparison pages say so plainly.
Where to start
- Owners: read the owner overview, check the pricing, or use the booking fee calculator.
- Switching: read the switch guide.
- Comparing: see all comparisons.
