Who these terms apply to

Campers use the directory and booking pages. Campground owners and their staff use the software. Some sections apply only to owners and say so.

You must be at least 18 and able to enter a binding agreement. If you use CampStack for a business, you confirm you can bind that business.

The directory

The directory lists private campgrounds and RV parks. Listings are built from public information and from owners. We try to keep them accurate, but we do not guarantee that any listing, rate, hookup, amenity or date is correct or current. Confirm details with the park before you travel.

A listing does not mean a park is affiliated with CampStack. Unclaimed listings say so on the page. Owners can claim, correct or ask to remove a listing as described in our takedown and correction process.

Bookings and guests

When you book a stay through a CampStack booking page, your contract for the stay is with the park, not with CampStack. The park sets its rates, taxes, fees, deposit and cancellation policy, and shows them before you pay.

CampStack adds no fee, badge or surcharge to guest checkout. Payments go through Stripe directly to the park. CampStack does not hold guest money.

Owner accounts and the software

You are responsible for your account, for the people you give access to, and for keeping your login details safe. You are responsible for the accuracy of your sites, rates, policies and tax settings.

You must have the right to run the campground you claim or create. You must verify your claim in the ways we offer. We can decline or reverse a claim that we cannot verify.

Price, trial and cancellation

The software costs $49 a month or $490 a year, flat, with unlimited reservations and users, no setup fee and no contract. The launch offer makes the software free until your park’s first 25 online bookings, after which your rate is locked for life.

Accounts start with a 14 day trial. The trial converts to a paid plan unless you cancel before it ends. You can cancel anytime from your settings page. See the refund policy for what happens to charges.

Card processing is Stripe’s standard rate, passed through at cost. CampStack never adds a percentage. You also agree to Stripe’s own terms for payments.

Your content

You keep ownership of the content you add, such as photos, descriptions, rates and guest records. You give us permission to store, display and process it to run CampStack, including showing your listing in the directory and on your booking page.

You promise that you have the rights to what you upload and that it follows our acceptable use policy.

Your data and leaving

You can export your sites, guests and reservations as CSV files from settings at any time, including after you cancel. After cancellation we keep your data for a period so you can come back or export it, then delete or anonymize it as described in the privacy policy.

Acceptable use

You agree to follow the acceptable use policy. We can suspend an account that breaks it, and we will tell you why unless the law says we cannot.

Changes to the service and to these terms

We may change the software and these terms. For material changes we give at least 30 days’ notice by email or in the app. A price change never applies to a park whose rate is locked under the launch offer.

No warranty and limits on liability

CampStack is provided as is and as available. We work to keep it running, but we do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error free.

To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim about CampStack is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits or lost bookings. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Minnesota, without regard to its conflict of law rules. Disputes will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Minnesota, and you and we consent to that venue.
