For campground and RV park owners

Campground reservation software for $49 a month. No booking fees. Ever.

Short answer

CampStack is campground reservation software for small independent campgrounds and RV parks, with a reservation grid, an online booking page, a widget for your own website and payouts straight to your bank through Stripe. It costs $49 a month or $490 a year, flat, with unlimited reservations and users, and unlike per-booking tools it never adds a fee or badge to your guests' checkout.

CampStack is reservation software for campgrounds and RV parks that do not want to hand a cut of every booking to a software company. You pay $49 a month, or $490 if you pay for the year. That is the whole price. It does not go up when you get busy, and your guests never see a CampStack fee at checkout.

This page explains what you get, what it costs, how it works, and where we are honest about being new.

The price, in plain terms

  • Directory listing: free for every park, claimed or not.
  • Software: $49 a month or $490 a year. Unlimited reservations. Unlimited users. No setup fee. No contract.
  • Launch offer: the software is free until your park takes its first 25 online bookings. After that you pay $49 a month or $490 a year, and that rate is locked for life.
  • Trial: 14 days. It turns into a paid plan unless you cancel, and you can cancel any time.
  • Card processing: Stripe's standard rate, passed through at cost. CampStack never adds a percentage. You can read Stripe's current US rates on their pricing page.

Why a flat fee matters to a small park

Most reservation software makes money one of two ways. Some charge the park a few dollars on every reservation. Others charge the guest a booking fee on top of your rate. Both models make the software company richer the busier you are, and both make your campground look more expensive than the rate on your sign.

A flat fee flips that. If you take 300 bookings or 1,500, you pay the same $490 for the year. Your best summer does not become your software company's best summer. Run your own numbers in the booking fee calculator.

Here is what the per-booking math looks like at published rates, for a park taking 800 bookings in a season. Firefly lists $3.50 per unit booked, which comes to $2,800 a year (source, checked October 2026). CampStack is $490. The park can pass some of those fees to guests in certain models, but the guest still pays them.

Your guests never see a surcharge

When a camper books through your CampStack page or widget, they see your site, your rate, your taxes and any add-ons you choose to sell. They do not see a service fee, a platform badge or a surcharge from us. Guest money goes to your Stripe account, not to ours. We do not touch it.

That matters because campers notice fees. A $5 line at the bottom of a checkout page makes your $45 site feel like a $50 site, and some campers will pick up the phone and call you instead. With CampStack, the price you set is the price they pay.

Free directory listing, and how to claim it

CampStack is also a directory of private campgrounds, built from public data. Your park may already have a page. If it does, you will see the line "This listing has not been claimed by the owner." Claiming it is free. You verify that you run the park, then you can correct your details, add photos and turn on booking when you are ready.

You do not need to buy the software to claim your listing. If you only want the free listing, that is fine.

Switch in an afternoon

If you already have software, the hard part is not learning something new. The hard part is moving your sites, your guests and your future reservations. CampStack is built so you can start from three places:

  1. Your directory listing, which pre-fills your park name, address and location.
  2. A CSV or Excel file of sites, guests and reservations from your old system or your spreadsheet.
  3. A short mapping screen where you tell us which of your columns is which. You see a preview before anything is saved, and you can undo the import.

Most owners can do this in an afternoon, then run the old and new systems side by side for a week before cutting over. The switch guide covers what to export from Campspot, Campground Master, Firefly and spreadsheets, and says plainly where a vendor does not publish its export details.

What you get

Everything is included in the one price. There are no tiers and no add-on fees for features.

Reservation grid

A calendar grid with your sites down the side and dates across the top. See who is arriving, who is leaving and which sites are open. Move a reservation, split a stay, block a site for maintenance. It is built to be read quickly from a tablet or a phone at the gate.

Online booking page and website widget

Your park gets a hosted booking page. You also get a widget, a short snippet you paste into your own website, so guests can check availability and book without leaving your site. Both show live availability from the same grid your staff use, so you do not get double bookings.

Stripe Connect payouts straight to your park

Guests pay by card through Stripe. The money is paid out to your park's bank account by Stripe. CampStack never holds your guests' money. You set up a Stripe Express account as part of onboarding. Stripe's standard processing rate applies and we pass it through at cost.

Seasonal and monthly billing

Many small parks earn their steadiest money from seasonal and monthly guests. CampStack lets you put those guests on a payment schedule, rather than treating them as a nightly booking. Use our seasonal rate and contract template to get your rates and agreement in order first.

POS-lite

A simple point of sale for the camp store: firewood, ice, propane, late checkout, a pet fee. Charge items to a reservation or take payment at the counter. It is not a full retail system, and we are not pretending it is.

Reports

Arrivals, departures, occupancy, revenue and payments, plus export to a spreadsheet. You should always be able to take your data with you, so every report can leave as a file.

Roles

Your office staff, seasonal workers and family do not all need to see everything. Set what each person can see and do. Unlimited users are included, so you never pay extra for adding a part-time employee.

What we do not have yet

Honesty first. CampStack launched in 2026. We are a new product from a company called Hive Asset Group, LLC, and we do not have a decade of history. We do not publish a park count because we would rather show you nothing than make one up. Larger systems have features we do not have, and some of the competitors on our comparison pages have been serving parks for years and are genuinely good at it.

Here is what we offer in place of a long track record:

  • A free listing with no obligation.
  • A 14-day trial.
  • No contract. Cancel any time.
  • A full data export when you leave, so you are never stuck.
  • A flat price that is written down, in public, and locked for life if you join under the launch offer.

If a feature you rely on is missing, tell us before you sign up. We would rather say no than have you find out in the middle of a season.

Who CampStack is for

CampStack is a good fit if you run a family campground, RV park, glamping site or seasonal park with fewer than a few hundred sites, you take reservations by phone or a paper book today, or you pay per-booking fees you would rather not, and you want to keep the relationship with your guests.

It may not be a fit if you need a channel manager that syncs with outside travel sites, or you run a very large multi-property operation with custom contracts. Be honest with yourself about that. If you are not sure, ask us.

How to start

  1. Find your park in the directory and claim it, or add it if it is not there.
  2. Start the 14-day trial.
  3. Import your sites, guests and future reservations.
  4. Connect Stripe so payouts go to your bank.
  5. Put the booking link or widget on your site and your Facebook page.
  6. Run the old system for a week, then retire it.

Questions

Common questions

What is the best campground reservation software for a small campground?

The best fit depends on how you want to pay. If you want one flat price that does not change when you get busy, CampStack is $49 a month or $490 a year with unlimited reservations. If you run a small desktop-only office, Campground Master is a $795 one-time purchase. Compare the real yearly cost at your own booking volume before you choose.

How much does campground reservation software cost?

It ranges from free tools that charge guests a fee, to per-booking models around $3 to $3.50 per reservation, to flat plans. CampStack is $49 a month or $490 a year, flat. Card processing is separate and is Stripe's standard rate passed through at cost.

Is there campground software with no booking fees?

Yes. CampStack charges the park a flat $49 a month and never adds a booking fee, percentage or surcharge. Your guests see your rate, your taxes and nothing from us at checkout.

Do I have to pay a fee on every reservation?

Not with CampStack. There is no per-reservation fee. The only other cost is Stripe's standard card processing rate, which goes to Stripe at cost, not to us.

How long does it take to switch campground software?

Most parks can load their sites, guests and future reservations in an afternoon if they can export a spreadsheet from their old system. Running both systems side by side for a week is a good safety step. Our switch guide walks through it.

Can I put an online booking form on my own website?

Yes. Every park gets a hosted booking page and a widget you paste into your own site. Guests book your open sites directly, with no marketplace in between.

Does CampStack work for seasonal and monthly guests?

Yes. Seasonal and monthly guests can be set up on a payment schedule instead of a nightly bill, alongside your regular nightly sites.

Is CampStack a new company?

Yes. CampStack launched in 2026. We do not have years of history or a park count to show you, so we make the first part of the relationship low risk: a free directory listing, a 14-day trial, no contract and a data export if you leave.

Flat fee. No booking fees. Ever.
