Listing correction and takedown process
CampStack lists private campgrounds and RV parks using public information. If your park’s listing is wrong, or you do not want it listed, you can fix it or have it removed. This is free, and you do not need a CampStack account.
Your options
Pick the one that fits.
- Claim the listing and fix it yourself. This is free and the fastest way to correct hours, hookups, photos and contact details.
- Ask us to correct a specific fact, such as a wrong address, phone number or season date.
- Ask us to remove the listing completely.
- Ask us to remove a photo or text that belongs to you or that you did not approve.
How to send a request
Email hello@campstack.online with the subject "Listing correction" or "Listing removal", or write to Hive Asset Group, LLC, 202 N. Cedar Ave., Suite #1, Owatonna, MN 55060. Include:
- The web address of the listing on CampStack.
- Your name, your role at the park, and a phone number or email at the park’s own website domain.
- For a correction: what is wrong and what it should say.
- For a removal: that you want the listing removed. You do not have to tell us why.
- For a photo or text you own: where the original is published or other proof that it is yours.
How we check it is you
We confirm that the request comes from someone who runs the park. We usually do this by sending a code to the phone number listed for the park, or by email to an address at the park’s website domain. If neither works, we will ask for another reasonable proof, such as a utility bill or a business license for the park.
We do this so that no one can remove or change a park’s listing without the owner’s say.
How fast we respond
We reply within two business days. Once we have verified the request, we make corrections and hide the listing from the site and from search results within five business days. Search engines can take longer to drop a page they have already stored, and we ask them to update when we remove a page.
What removal means
When we remove a listing, the page stops loading and the park is removed from search, maps and nearby park lists. We keep a short record of the request so that the listing is not added again by mistake. If you later change your mind, you can ask us to bring the listing back or claim it.
If the park has an active CampStack software account, removing the listing does not cancel the account. Reservations that guests already made stay valid.
If the information is not about your park
If your park appears under a wrong name, or a listing belongs to a different business, tell us and we will fix it. If a person who is not the owner claims your listing, tell us right away and we will reverse the claim after we verify you.
If we disagree
We take owner requests seriously. If we believe information we show is accurate and publicly available, we may decline to change it, but we will explain why and you can reply. We always honor a verified owner’s request to remove a park’s whole listing.
